Scene 1 Dialogue
Cassandra around the corner of the bunker, talking on her cell phone. She fails to notice Charlotte who is sitting against the wall on the inside of the metal door. Before walking out of frame Cass double takes; realizing what she saw.
Cass: I’ll…. call you back.
Cass puts away her cell phone and walks back to the gate. She bends down to talk to Charlotte who has shifted slightly to talk to her.
Cass: What are you doing out here on a cold morning like this?
Charlotte: Haven’t got anyplace warmer really.
Cass: Isn’t there somebody you could stay with?
Charlotte: Unfortunately, no.
Cass: Well, I work at a Youth Hostile up the road from here. We’ve always got plenty of room-
Charlotte: Look…thanks, but no thanks, yeah?
Cass: Ok. But if you change your mind-
Cass rummages in her pocket and pulls out a piece of paper and pen. She proceeds to write down the address of the Youth Hostile.
Cass: -just come to 28 Sevenheart Road, ok?
Cass finishes writing the address of the Youth Hostile on the piece of paper and hands it to Charlotte who accepts it slowly. As Charlotte puts the piece of paper in her pocket Cass walks off; Charlotte watches Cass walk off.
